Combined birthdays trip with the wife. Not the most romantic we had but at least was a well linked location to discover Barcelona. We initially were disappointed to have been given a courtyard view room but then realised how loud the rooms with the main road windows must be, so kinda just went along with it. My biggest bug bear was the loo that was right below the radiator, so you had to kind of sit on it at an angle. Ah and lack of anything potato-ey for breakfast - no hash browns or anything - weird. Overall - fun week there that was not spoilt by the choice of hotel.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff - particularly Cheryl and Rocio with their master classes! Great buffet breakfast but slightly disappointing evening menu. Overall a great stay and would definitely go back.

Excellent staff. Allowed to book into a room hrs earlier than expected. Clean & tidy. Cleaned daily. Good restaurant/bar. Great location with plenty of cafes, etc. nearby. Free coffee machine in reception. Swimming pool due to drought restrictions

The purpose of this review is to save other people from the trauma I suffered. We booked this hotel for 5 nights but left after 3 due to me being robbed of a necklace in daylight 500m from the hotel. Hotel itself is acceptable (certainly not 4 star) but clean albeit tired. I was aware of the pickpocket pandemic that Barcelona suffers, but never expected as a 6ft well built male, to be assaulted in broad daylight and robbed of a precious item, so close to this hotel. Despite the ongoing trauma suffered (I am writing this 10 days after arriving home) the hotel would not entertain refunding the 2 nights we lost (either directly or through Booking.com). Pickpocketing has, post-covid, escalated to crimes against the person in this city. I'm 51 years old, have travelled extensively and have never felt so nervous and vulnerable in any other city. This is not because of the assault, I felt it from arrival and was almost waiting for the assault or pickpocketing to happen at every turn.

Central placed hotel, with good access to the city and metro. Stayed toward the backyard, and very quiet. However, easy to hear the neighbors. Never during our stay did the wifi work, so useless. Very friendly staff and good communication. With better soundproofing it would be a perfect room
